NAURU PHOSPHATES.
OUTPUT SINCE MANDATE. LONDON, May 6. Mr J. H. Thomas replied in the House of -Criminous to several questions regarding Nauru. H' v said the lutput of phosphates at,2-. and Iccan Island since Government control was set up was 1,253,270 -tor n if which' Britain received 32.300, Australia 794,570, and N(tv Zealand L 26,800 tons. The last shipment to Britain was in November, 1921. He presumed the price was unfavorable, [’he present price was 15s below that of the last British cargo. . The. approximate pride delivered in Britain iv-as three shillings above the pre-war price. Mr Thomas added, regarding the allotment of 42 per cent, of the output to Britain, it is impossible to give any guarantee concerning the three Governments concerned.—" Sun;.
