WATERFRONT TROUBLE.
WILL COMMONWEALTH LINE BE INVOLVED?
SYDNEY, May 6. Fear is expressed that tho waterfront trouble is likely to develop, today on tho Cmninoiiwealtli liner Hobson’s Bay, which yesterday completed the round volage. The old crew finishes up to-day, when a new crew will be signed oil. It is then that trouble is expected. A deadlock has been reached in the dispute regarding the steamers Ivatoomba. and Karoola, and it is regarded as certain that the owners will not attempt to man the ships unless guarantees are forthcoming agaSist further interference.—U.P.A.
