BEAUTY CONTEST AND D. AY. GRIFFITH’S “DREAM STREET.

Again last evening the beauty con test and an admirable picture programme attracted capacity business to Everybody's Theatre. It has become apparent during the xiast couple of nights that those who desire to have a choice of scats at . this theatre must either arrive early or book their seats, a fact which will tend to increase the crowds due to see the programme to-night. The loading production, in addition to the ..beauty contest is D. W. Griffith’s super production “Dream Street” which is an excellent entertainment. The supporting pictures are of the very best. The Beauty Contest is causing the greatest interest locally ancl the screening of each of the ton candidates in the first group meets with greatest approval. To-morrow at the matinee the principal attractions will be Lewis Stone and all-star cast in “The Concert” or “Passionate Pianist”. Dustin Farnum in “The Yosemite Trail.” Buster Keaton comedy “Neighbours,” and continuation of the Beauty Contest. Piquant with laughter provoking is the story of “The Concert.” A great pianist has a fatal fascination for the ladies although his wife knows him to be a. helpless baby. She finds that her erring husband has arranged to steal away another man’s wife to a mountain lodge. She hunts up the husband of the deluded gill and the two of them set out to effect a double cure. Dustin Farming well known stage and screen star, will be. seen in the Fox production “The Yosemite Trail.” This picture has for its background the majestic grandeur of the Yosemite Valley. Buster Keaton in the comedy “Neighbours” is stated to excel his previous productions. Day sale of tickets and reserved scats at Miller’s Corner.
