A MEAN TRICK.

JUDGE ON ERHARDT. PRINCESS HOHEXLOHE SENTENCED. BERLIN. July 25. When sentencing Princess blolicnlohe, the .Judge pointed out than the trial bad proved- beyond doubt the close intimacy between the Princess and the escapee. A ptrHtical offence such as the leaders of the organisation might commit, had not any relation to personal honor, but Erhardt had committed a moan trick in perjuring himself and persuading the Princess to do likewise. A sequel to the imprisonment of the Princess Hohenlo'u* is tV.e arrest of Baron Bascii Lobe and the baroness, who is an Englishwoman, charged with being concerned in effecting the escape of Erhardt. The couple were completely surprised, but did not submit without- a struggle.—A. and N.Z.O.A.
