MANIACS AT LARGE.
S K YEN TEEX [XS- AXE CON VICT-S UX CAPTURED. NEW YORK, July 24. A telegram from Chester. Illinois, says that seventeen insane convicts are still at large. They are being bunted by bloodhounds. Eight fugitives were recaptured during the night. The authorities believe that a. genera! escape of all the prisoners vas planned by outside confederates, who smuggled knives and woaponinto the exercise pen.-—A. and N.Z.C.A.
