BRITAIN NOT YET RECEIVED ONE PENNY.

LONDON, Feh. 23. Sir R. Horne, in the House of Commons, stated that Britain had not yet received a penny indemnity from' Germany. On the contrary the cost of occupation of over a milliarn gold marks, had been paid to the extent of 970 millions of which £2,640,000 was paid to Canada and Australasia.—A. and N.Z.C.A.
