IMPERIAL CONFERENCE
NOT TO BE HELD AT PRESENT. LONDON, Feb. 23. In the House of Commons, replying to questions, Mr Lloyd George said that there was no indication of a desire on the part of the overseas Governments to hold an Imperial Economics Conference with a view ..of carrying out the scheme of economic co-operation agreed upon at the Imperial Conference in 1917-IS. Therefore it would he no advantage to the Imperial Government at present summoning a conference.— Renter.
