-V branch of the secret organisation known as the Erhardt Brigade, who work for the restoration of the monarchy, was discovered by the French at Duseeldorf. Thirty arrests were made.
. Captain Ebardt, living at. Innesbrack, - is the head of.the organisation. He 1 sends orders to a staff of personal-ly-appointed officers, who flit from place to place to avoid discovery. The creation of a strong army, and the- laying in of stores of arms and munitions, are among the aims of the organisation. which holds a secret court where even death sentences are passed, members of the inner ciiclo carrying out the sentences. It is believed -the assassins of Erzberger and Gareis belong to- this hand, wnicli is estimated to comprise 16,000 members. —Times.
