“WE MAY "WELL BE SATISFIED”

LONDON. Oct. 6. The Times, in a leading article reviewing the League of Nations, takes the view that it is justifying its existence. The Times gives . affirmative answers to the questions : fs the peace of the world more secure than when the League was founded? Are its methods appropriate to the conditions with which it is called upon to deal ? The Times adds:

“We may well be satisfied with wliat we have succeeded in acconi- , plisliing to date. The chief danger is in attempting too much. If the League avoids this we believe the time will come when we shall wonder how we got on without it.”—A. and N.Z.C.A.
