BRISKER , DEMAND FOR CROSSBREDS.

LONDON, July 27. At the mixed wool sales merinos were very firm, selling at rates practicvally equal to the opening rates. The Home trade was active. Medium and low cross-breds met with brisker demand. Prices were slightly in seller’s favor. There were some withdrawals of fine crossbreds owing to the high limits. Prices; realised were; Beiiey clip, top prices 15£d, average 15d; Carlingford, top 15d, average 14§d.; Moyal, top, 23£d, average 18d ; Carlindie, top, 11 HI; average, lid.— A. and N.Z.C.A.

COARSE CROSSBREDS NOT IN REQUEST.
(Received July 29, 1 a.m.) SYDNEY, July 28. The second series of Wool sales lias, closed. Compared with the first series, best merinos are slightly lower. Other merinos realised firm figures. Coarse crossbreds were not in request.—U.P.A. -
