TOZER TRAGEDY.

MRS MORT WRITES TO DOCTOR’S MOTHER.

“WRONG DONE MEMORY OF

FINE MAN.”

(Received July 27, 8.20 p.m.) SYDNEY, July 27. Mrs More, writing to Mrs Tozer, mother of Dr. Tozer, from the State reformatory, wherein slie is incarcerated, says that, since being there, she lias realised many things. One of them is the awful wrong she did Dr Tozer. She wants to say that never once did lie take advantage of her. All things whereof he was accused were absolutely untrue. It is a continual horror to her to know that she left a different impression on the public mind. No one could have been more chivalrous. Mrs, Mort adds: “I am writing to try and make some atonement for the wrong done the memory of a fine man.” —U.P.A.
