(Received Dec. 20, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, Dec. 19. The Bishop of Cork’s pastoral message was read in all phurches of the diocese, decreeing excommunication for those participating in murderous ambushes or abetting murders. A number of young men noisily left several churches during the reading.
(Received Dec. 20, 8.5 p.m.) LONDON, Dec. 20. The General Commanding County Kerry has notified his area that he will send Sinn Fein prisoners as hostages with all Crown transport owing to treacherous attacks.—A. and N.Z. C.A.
