ASSISTANCE SENT TO BOURKE.
SYDNEY, July 19
The country around Bourlce is flooded. The waters lire extending in all directions, in some places for 30 miles. More water is expected in a few days. The Government is sending boatb, blankets, and provisions. (Received July 19, 8.10 p.m.) SYDNEY, July 19. The flood waters at Bourkc are receding. The town is safe. —U.P.A.
