Subsequently a company of Reichswelir marched past the Embassy, where leading French officers and a member of ilie Embassy stood on the balcony, and the flag was rehoisted. The Reichswehr presented arms and marched off singing ‘‘Deutchlaiul Über Alles.’ The crowd vigorously cheered the Reichswehr, who only participated in the ceremony after influential persuasion, but refused to don parade uniforms. —Reuter.
