'lhe adjourned meeting of the works committee of the Harbor Board, comprising the whole Board, was held yesterday, and the _ following statement was prepared, for publication; , , . ... The Board eontorred m committee with Mr Ferguson, who specially attended in response to a telegraphic request. The various aspects were extensively discussed and much detail investigated when many matters were cleared up. Those and a possible alteration, or modification, were submitted, and are to he submitted by the Board, of Engineers. The decision of the works committee will come up for confirmation at tln> Board meeting to he held on Monday.
