TROUBLE AT KAITANGATA MINE.
MEN REFUSED LAMPS AFTER STOP-WORK MEETING. "GO-SLOW” POLICY EXPECTED TO-DAY. Press Association Telegram. DUNEDIN. Dec. 2. The miners at the Kaitangata mines held a stop-work meeting this morning prior to going on shift. When the meeting closed and the men were prepared to resume work, they were refused their lamps. Consequently the mine has been idle all day. It is anticipated that work will he resumed to-morrow on the "go-slow” policy.
