EVERYBODY’S. “THE SILENT MASTER.” “The Silent Master,” with the popular Robert Warwick in the lead, is proving a great attraction at Everybody’s. The role taken by Robert Warwick is a novel one, anti he acquits himself in it with great credit. A wealthy man in league with apaches holds a mysterious Court of St. Simon. Simon goes to America and falls in love with and marries the sister of a young man whom the husband had introduced to the underworld of criminals. The discovery of this leads to an estrangement, followed by romantic adventures. in which Simon proves- himself well worthy of the trust and devotion of his wife. The play maintains the keenest interest throughout and while being a special’delight to those who have read the hook, it proves a most absorbing subject to all who see it. A first-class Pathe Gazette and a beautiful scenic-travel subject “Biarritz,” are included in tlie programme, which will be shown lor the lasi- time to-night. _ Wednesday next, the main attraction at Everybody’s will be “Tattle Red Decides” — •x Triangle production featuring Barbara Connolly, the child wonder of the screen. There was another large audience at- His Majesty’s Theatre last evening. The attraction was a Paramount super-feature, entitled “Airs. Dane’s Defence,” starring that most versatile actress Pauline Fredericks. Felicia Hindermarsh, young and lovely, though with a rather haunted manner, arrives by train at a little country station in Canada. The stationmaster directs her to the home of Airs. Lucy Dane, her cpusiii, a. pretty woman, who is a confirmed invalid. Felicia, who has brought a baby boy in- her arms, tries to tell her cousin the story of those years spout at Vienna. ‘ She tells of having taken a position as governess in the home of the Trent’s, and of Air. Trent’s unwelcome attentions from the very first day. She had been seventeen at the time end the affair had progressed rapidly. Felicia had tried again and again after her boy was born to make a- fresh start, but each time the scandal s lmd followed her. Felicia begs her cousin for aid—and not in vain. Supporting this feature is Fatty Arbuekle in “The Country Hero,” an American Gazette, and another popular Burton Holmes’ travel picture. The box plans arc at the London Alusio Shop. THE PALACE. “DAUGHTER OF DESTINY.” Olga Petrova, the famous emotional actress now appearing in the latest release from her own studio, “Daughter of Destiny,” continues to attract many admirers of that favorite artist at the Palace Theatre. It' is a striking story of a great love, with .magnificent backgrounds and wonderful dresses. It toils of a girl who was twice married, the first time to a scoundrel who commits murder, and then disappears in a way that seems to leave clear proof of his death. The second time she contracts a morganatic marriage with a prince, after winch the first husband returns to create great trouble. The woman’s bravery and self-sacrifice saves the life of the prince, and she gains just recognition of her rights, while the rascal is hoist into eternity by his own petard. Supports comprise the Weekly Co-operative Review and a Selig comedy, “Tom’s Strategy.” The programme will be finally shown 'to-night. For tlie mid-week change of programme to-morrow (Wednesday), a Pathe feature .is announced —“The Woman in White.” In this highly successful dramatic production Floranco La Badie will appear in the title role. Splendid supports, including the ninth episode of “The A 1 ystcry of tlie Double- Cross,” will also he shown.
