LADIES’ CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT.
(Special to the Times). WELLINGTON, Last night. The ladies’ championship tournament opened in Wellington to-day at Karori Park. Canterbury met Wellington B and defeated tbo latter by ten goals to nil. Manawatu defeated Wellington A by nine goals to nil. The Poverty Bay girls drew a bye and meet Wellington A tomorrow.
