WEEKLY AIEETIXG
The weekly meeting of the P.B. Hockey Association was held last evening. Air P. Sim presiding. It was decided that a practice match be played on Thursday, tile teams to be selected on the ground. The following players are requested to he in attendance. R. Sherratt, E. JexBlake, E. Barry, Al. Rees, Al. Bull, I. Chrisp, F. ’Chatterton, Al. Matthews, E. Aliller, Al. Kane. A. Goddum, Al Fairlie, N. Alyward, C. Trotter. Al. Colley, Al. Watts I. Crawforth, F. Davidson, V. Bowler, A. Jones, Z. Bates and as many other lady players who would like a game, can roll up when a second game can he arranged. Referees Messrs Celhor and Gracie. At a subsequent meeting of men held last evening, Mr H. A. Armstrong presided. Correspondence from Auckland was discussed and it was decided to reply stating that arrangements could he made to play a match with the . Auckland men s team during the visit of the Auckland ladies’ team- The following committee was elected: Alessrs Armstrong (chairman), A. .W. Mason (sec.), Sim, Eton, Gracie and AlcLachlan. Air Armstrong was unammously elected selector of the men s representative team. Practices are to be held on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday afternoons, morning practices to commence at b a.m. Any ladies wishing to attend in the mornings can rest assured or having a splendid morning s practice. Any men who do not attend morning practice are liable to be left out of the team.
