KAIRORO SALE. The Gisborne Farmers’ Co-opera-tive Company report having held their weekly sale at the Kairoro yards The entries of both sheep and cattle were good and prices showed a slight advance on late rates. The attendance of buyers was better than usual and bidding was spirited. The annual Te Hau draft of cattle were offered and sold at satisfactory prices. We quote : Fat Sheep.—ls 4 at 25s 6d, 117 at 21s lid, 25 wethers light 295, 22 wethers unfinished 2Ss Bd. Store Sheep.—lo 7 empty ewes 17s lod. 73 store ewes 14s 9d, 67 ewes in lamb poor mixed 15s 3d. 71 store ewes 16s, 12 cull lambs 3s poor, 41 good ewes 17s Id. 64 lambs small poor 6s 2d, 22 store ewes 16s 6d. light fat steers £l4, 1 light plain cow £ll, 1 34-year-old steer £l2 17s Gd. 1 store cow £6 17s Gd. On account Te Hau station : 76 in calf cows £lO. 28 24 Hereford cross heifers £l4 2s Gd. IS Shorthorn cross £l2, 35 ISmos. heifers £8 9s. On account other vendors: 5 yearling heifers £6 10s, 5 Polled Angus cross steers 24-vear £ll 15s. 5 yearling steers £7 10s, 11-lomos. steers £7 2s 6d. 10 mixed cattle £7 14s, 44 weaners (steers) £5 10s.
