Press Association Telegram. NAPIER, March 12. At the Supreme Court Solomon Koko, a native interpreter, was sentenced by the Chief Justice to-day to three years’ reformative detention. He had pleaded guilty to 12 charges of forgery. He had been given a verdict of not guilty by a jury last year on a forgery charge, and the Chief Justice commented on the mistaken kindness of the jury, who had let a plainly guilty man oft.
