The party consists ot eight officers, six seamen and 1/ cadets, as follows: Officers—AY. Hirst, second engineer; K. A. Gunn, third; H. H. Barr, fourth; N. Q. Fleming, fifLli; J. JMcKeran, sixth; H. M. Mayo . seventh; Gr. M. Cooper, third officer; A. jv. A r ipau, wireless operator. Cadets—T. E. Bevan. J. Adams, AY. Millward, N. H. Annandale AY. ScantleburV. 'E. Sutherland, A. Denholm, J. Every-Clayton, J. Murray, L. H. Davis. W. Shakespeare. D. AYilliams. „ , . , Seamen —A. Johnson (boatswain), A Dyer, L. Mackinnon. V. Fox, A. Mclntyre, E. Elder (A.B.’s). These are all the Europeans saved, except the commander, Captain Gerald Dooley, out of 32 officers and men and 30 cadets.
