AUCKLAND FREEZERS.
STRIKES AT TWO WORKS. (Press Association Telegram.) AUCKLAND, Feb. 15. About 40 freezing chamber hands employed by the Auckland Fanners Freezing Company and the Westfield .Freezing Company, at the Southdown and Horotiu works of the former, ana at the Westfield works of the latter, are on strike. The men recently submitted demands as a basis for a new agreement, which represents an increase in wages. These the employers considered unreasonable, as they already are paying more than, is paid for the same work in other parts ot the Dominion.
