QUARTERLY MEETING OF THE BOARD. (Press Association Telegram.) WELLINGTON. Feb. 23At tlie Quarterly meeting of the Public Service Superannuation. Board. 19 contributors, retired by reason of age, or length of service, were granted!annual allowances totalling £3440, and two contributors retired as medically unfit were granted allowances totalling £2Ol per annum. Seventeen widows and 14 children were granted statutory aggregating £2IBB per annum. in consequence of retirements* under Sectijn 35, accrued compensation to
the amount of £B3IB became a liability on the Superannuation Fund and a corresponding relief to tne Consolxir.ied Fund. The Secretary reportedthat the total amount to the credit of the fund on January 31 last v: £933,162. an increase of £112,025 on the preceding year.
