Sir Joseph Ward, speaking at a Brotherhood meeting at Browning Hall, said the only way the peace o? the world could be made permanent after the war was by the right-tfcink-ing people of the great Powers binding together and saying to any Powers attempting to enter a destructive course that they would combine to fight them to the death.
