AMERICAN SENATOR ESPOUSES ALLIES’ CAUSE.

Allied soldiers who are fighting for the liberty and peace of my children’s children. Our liberty and security depends on the destruction and abandonment of the stated principles of. national aggrandisement and immorality.” Mr. Root approved of President Wilson’s speech because he interpreted it as implying the crushing ol Prussian militarism. If Germany s principles were., victorious, Amen call freedom would-die in this generation.
