ACCIDENTS AND DEATHS.
(Press Association Telegram.) DUNEDIN, Feb. 7. Harriet Parsons (22), residing at Henley, was drowned in the Taieri River on Saturday morning at 11.15. She left the house to take cows to a paddock along a path lying about half a chain from the river. A little later her sister heard her scream, and saw deceased swept past face downwards. The sister rushed waist deep into the water, but failed to get to deceased. The body has not been recovered.
