Iu order to provide the necessary accommodation for the ever-increasing number qf pupils at the Napier Boys’ High School, the Governors have justcompleted arrangements for the purchase of 25 acres of laud with a frontage _on the beautiful Tutaekuri River, within a few chains of the sea beach, and just includes the boundaries of the town of Napier. The new site is an admirable one for the purpose, and the school can look forward to better scholastic results than those shown in the meritorious records of the past. Tho school was established in 1572, and has a record second to none in the Dominion, Napier’s genial clim'ato having undoubtedly had a beneficial influence on pupils’ Dhysical and mental development. The school is under the directi°n of Mr. W. A. Armour, M.A.. M.Sc., assisted hy one of the most highly qualified and able staffs in tho country. Although great attention ££ ven to the mental education of "the bojrs, their physical well-being receives just as keenlv and capable supervision, and in that direction tho school is justly proud of the athletic powers of its present and past pupils, lhe management of the boarding establishment connected with the school Armour*hands pf Mm
