The Methodist Conference has approvedl the final draft of stations tor Hawke’s Bay and Manawatu as follows: —Napier, Rev. I. R. Richards a,ndi homo missionary; Hastings, Rev. Ml A. R. Pratt j Gisborne, Rev. Robert- Raine and one wanted; AVaipawa, Rev. Arthur Harding; Dannevirke, Rev. J. A. Hos'king; Woodville, Rev. Christopher Abernethy; 1 ahiatua, Rev. Raymond Richards; Palmerston North (Broad Street), Rev. F. B. Boys and one wanted; Palmerston North (Cuba. Street), Rev. AV. IT. Haslatt; Feilding, Rev. D. J. Murray and Rev. T Coatsley, a home missionary, and it. y. . Jones (supernumerary); Sanson and Rongotea, Rev. It. R. Keall; Foxton, Rev. AV. Rowe and a home missionary; Ivimbolton and Norsewood, home missionaries. The following ministers were elected chairmen, of their respective synodical districts: —Auckland, Rev. C. H. Laws; South Auckland, Rev. G. J. Spence; Taranaki-AVanganui, Rev. 1. G. Hammond; Hawke’s Bay-Mana-watu, Rev. D. J. Murray; Wellington, Iter. J. Dawson; Nelson, ltev. AV. Baumber; North Canterbury, Rev. AV. A Sinclair; South Canterbury, Rev.. 3' A Jougliin; Otago, Rev. E. Drake; Southland,. Rev. AV. Ready. . Reference was nicide to four ministers who had died during the year — Messrs Redstone, Pendray, Newman Buttle, and Bowie. Mr Buttle, a son of ono of the old missionaries, had many relatives '»*. the Dominion, and will specially be remembered by bis work for foreignmissions. It was decided to publish various pamphlets on various subjects for education of the people with special reference to the young. It was agreed to appoint Rev. AV. AValker as chaplain to the Trentham military camp for a year. Arrangements 'were made to give better attention to military camps and a special grant of £IOOO was made from the mission fund to secure this. Eaci: church was recommended to secure rolls of honor on which the names of men belonging to the churches who have gone to the front shall be enrolled.
