Hunter of Christchurch, presiding, a resolution was adopted rejecting the suggestion for a mutual agreement with the Liberal party for election purposes. It was resolved that candidates only bo nominated on a guarantee of ten per cent, of the voters at tho preceding election. If this is not forthcoming the party will not only not nominate candidates, but w:U oppose anyone nominated in the name of Labor bv other means. Ji _ . ‘
