WANGANUI’S CARNIVAL QUEEN.
RESULT OE THE ELECTION. [PRESS ASSOCIATIO N- TET *OJIAM.I WANGANUI, March 11. The election of the Queen of the Carnival was decided to-night in the presence of five thousand people. Miss Ina McDonald was elected Queen with 35.360 votes, Mrs Gregor McGregor being next with about 33.032 votes, and Airs Hammond third with 30.017. The election lias created great interest during the past three weeks.
