AN APPEAL TO THE EMPIRE
(United Press Association—Copyright.) (Received Feb. 24, 5.10 p.m.) LONDON, Feb. 23. The Dean of St. Pauls is appealing for £70,000 to strengthen the superstructure. It is believed that many thousands of people in Britain’s Dominions, to whom the Cathedral is hallowed, would be ready to respond.
