CLYDE IRON STRIKE.
A DEADLOCK REACHED. (UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT) (Received Feb. 23, 10.40 p.m.) SYDNEY, Feb. 23. A deadlock lias been reached in the Ironworkers’ dispute. Mr Estell, who sought to intervene, states that the masters declined his invitation to meet the men in confer(Received February 24, 1.10 a.m.) Cabinet discussed the strike and it is understood, favored a proposal for taking a Iballot of the strikers on the question of resuming pending a reference to the trouble to the Arbitration Court.
