Monsignor O’Reilly, president of the St. Stanislaus College, speaking at Batliurst, declared that Roman Catholics were g<Jring to organise to deal with their opponents in a most effective way, namely at the ballot box. The Catholic Federation of New South Wales was a political body. “We are going to sell ourselves to the highest bidder. We shall bo in the market by and by. For a great many years I have been voting for Labor, but will vote for another ticket to-mororw if it suits me.”
