BRADFORD CARTERS OUT.
[UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION —COPYRIGHTJ LONDON, May 28. A surprise strike of carters took place at Bradford, contrary to their leaders’ advice. Two thousand men .paraded the streets and prevented others working.
MUCH TROUBLE AFOOT.
(Received Mav 29, 11.30 p.m.) LONDON. May 29. Owing t-o the laborers’ strike for a minimum wage, 25,000 tube workers in the Midlands are idle. Throe thousand carters at Sheffield and 3000 at- Bradford have struck. Four thousand Tronmo'j’dors at Falkirk are locked out.
