DEATH OF LUTHER M'CARTHY.
CORONIAL INQUIRY. [UNITED PHEBB ASSOCIATION—COPYBIGET} OTTAWA, May 27. The coroner’s jury at Calgary returned a verdict that McCarthy, the boxer, was accidentally hilled, and exonerating Pelky. Death was dxio to dislocation of the neck.

The magistrate at Calgarry committed Tommy Burns and Pelky for trial on a charge of manslaughter, ignoring the coroner’s verdict. Accused were admitted to bail. They deny that the fight was unlawful on- a prize fight 6uch as the. Canadian law prohibited- A full investigation into McCarthy's death, however, is necessary they admit.
