The Blue Mountains centenary celebrations were held in gkueous weather, and various mountain centres wer© gaily decorated. The principal locality for the festivities was Mt. Victoria, where Sir Gerald Strickland (Governor) dedicated Victoria Park, and then proceeded to Mount York, where he unveiled a memorial tablet on a pavilion erected in honor of Blaxland, Wentworth, and _ Lawson, the three pioneers who discovered the route across the mountains.

The proceedings to-night include the lighting of bonfires on 100 points, from Orange to Prospect.
