A SATISFACTORY REPORT. PHASE OF THE MARCONI INQUIRY.

At the Alarconi Committee’s inquiry it was stated that the pass books of Air Lloyd-George and Sir Rufus Isaacs which were yesterday examined by the chairman of the Committee in connection with alleged transactions in Alarconi shares, showed no dealings beyond purchases already testified to by" the Afinisters in evidence before the Committee. Mr Alarconi protested against inquiry into matters which did not relate'to the contracts. He said he had never speculated in his company’s shares.
