RAILWAY OFFICERS AND SUPERANNUATION.
CONFERENCE RESOLUTIONS. [PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.! DUXEDNI, Aug. 2. The following motions were earned iit the conference of the Railway Officers’ Institute to-day: That members of the service should he allowed to retire after having served 30 years and still continue their payments to the superannuation fund until such time as they completed the period or term fixed by the present Act, when they should be allowed to go on the fund in the ordinary way. A similar benefit should extend to members dismissed for a technical fault after having served 30 years.
