BOWLING.
THE BURTON TROPHY. The secretary of the Gisborne- Bowling Club has received intimation that the Greenmeadows, Napier, and Hastings Bowling Clubs will -send two rinks each to Gisborne at Easter time to compete for the Burton trophy. Inquiries have also been received from the Waipawa club -as to means of .transit, etc., and it is not at all improbable that a rink from the- Dannevirke club will also visit Gisborne in connection with the competition for the same trophy.
