THE POST OFFICE BILL

CAPETOWN, March 30. The Assembly negatived an amendment to the Post Office Bill, limiting the carriage of mails to British vessels. The Postmaster-General intimated that the Imperial Post Office authorities adhered to their attitude of 1899, objecting to sucli restriction.
SIR L. JAMESON HAS A RELAPSE. *Sir L. Jameson has had a silght relapse, and his departure for England has been deferred.
