WANGANUI EMPLOYERS’ ASSO- a CIATION. (PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.! WANGANUI, March 31. Mr W. Pryor, secretary of the New Zealand Employers’ Federation has been in Wanganui for a few days, and as a result of his visit a large increase in the membership of the local Employers’ Association has been secured.

THE OTAGO RED DEER HERD. DUNEDIN, March 31. At a meeting of the Council of the Acclimatisation Society to-day a complaint was made regarding the treatment of the Society by the Government with reference to the red doer herd. It was stated that the Government had gone against the Society at every point. It was decided that an application be made to the Government for a subsidy of £ for £ on the expenditure on the red deer forest and in the event of the application being refused, that the Society seriously fvnsider the question of the further niengagement of the herd.
