United Press Association —Copyright SYDNEY, Feb. 28. The annual mooting ol tho Citizens Life Assurance Company was held today. The report showed that new assurances for £1,211,403 had been completed in the ordinary branch, and that the funds on tlm olst December amounted to ff'-.Lb i ,lb 9, the increase for the year being .L‘-i-.1,0<>, which is the largest on record, f urther savings had been effected in the working expenses ol the ordinary branch.' which is now being worked at the rate of 10 per cent- ol the premiums. Almost GO per cent of the total assets 'are comprised in public securities. Valuation reports show that the reserves have been further strengthened during the year, and that the reversionary bonus to policy holders has been considerably increased. The total surplus is £60,247.
