Wellington, last night. A cablegram has been leoeived by the Premier from Bir J, G. Ward stating that voting at the Postal Congress goes by countries. Each country has one vote.
The Premier has reoeived through His Excellency tho Governor, a cablegram from the Secretary of State for the Colonies, conveying the thar k i of tho King of Italy for the oolony’s sympathy with the sufferers by the eruption of Vesuvius. Blenheim, last night.

Class 2, drive through three gateways and back : Hare’s team 1, Frances McKenzie’B 2. Class 3, huntaway : Watson's Speck 1, Flowers’ Bpeed 2, Francis’ Bock 3.
