The Secretary of the East Coa;t Railway League ba3 teeeived the following letter from tho Wbart k ipae-Tahora Settlers’ Association " In terms of a resolution passed at the last meeting of the S tilers’ Association, held on the 2ad inst, I am instructed to a«k your League to urge tbe Govotnmrpi to have a trial survey made from Waihuka to Wa karemoana and Rotorua by way of the Wbarekopae river as far as the stock track, henoe to Haogaroa river at Steele’s, up river to Kaimargo stream, hence over watershed to Ruakituri river at RLk :mska stream, heaoe to Waikaremonna and Rotorua.—l am, etc., E. F. IVESON. Hod. Soo. Wharekooae-Tahora Sutlers’ Association. P.S. —The linking in of Waikaremoana with Gisborne-Rotorua will be a source of revenue to Gisborne in more ways tbau one,”
