cheques. Ho pnssod three cheques on different tradespeople for £ls, £lO and £5, by purchasing goods and receiving the difference in change. A man who was charged at the Police Court with deseriiog his wife alleged that the woman was not married to him. The prosecutor stated that after their marriage in Victoria she gave the certificate to defendant. The Case was adjourned pending the arrival of the certificate.
