LONDON WOOL SALES.
UPWARD TENDENCY.

At tho third day’s wool sales, stylish oiasses, suitable for the American trade, were unchanged from the prices ruling at Maroh sales. Everything else was five to seven and a half per centum in advanoe. The fleece portion of the fiedcastle olip sold at 13 3 8d lo 18£J, and Auokland brand at 14d.
At the wool sales competition is bri- k, and everything is selling at full prices, with an upward tendency. Shares in the Bank of New Zealand are at 9 to New Zealand Loan and Mercantile debentures 93.
The report of the Trust Agency Company of Australasia shows a profit of £68,731, a dividend of 5 per cent, hss been declared, and £17,000 carried forward,
