APPEAL COURT.
(Per Press Awtooiatioa.) Wellington, last night, The case of Fels and Deßeer v. Knowles and Haleß was continued before the Court of Appeal this morning. The oose had been narrowed to this point: Had the trustees (the defendants) power to lease to Bendix HaUenstein with tbe option of purchase. The will of Joseph Burne directed the trustee to “ sell and dispose of, and convert inti money his land as they think fit.'’ These words, it was contended, gave the widest possible powers to trustees and certainly power to the option of purchase, The case promises to take some considerable time, probably running into Monday.
