PREMIERS' CONFERENCE.
MR SEDDON NOT TO BE ENTICED

A resolution was adopted asking the Federal Government to amend the constitution to secure the right of States to appeal to the Privy Council when Stnte riOhts are affected ; that it was incumbent on the Federal Government, if it adopts on old age pension scheme, to provide the revenue required without trenohing cn Customs revenue now returnable to the Estates.
Mr Deakin was present during the afternoon session.
The Braddon olauso was conversationa'ly discussed prior to the proposed submission of a resolution for re-oastmg the flaanoial clauses of the constitution, embracing consideration of the position of the States at the termination of the Bradden olaas-' period, and the desirableness of continuing the bookkeeping period. The visitors to-night are guests at a Ministerial dinner,
