LABOR COUNOIL,
WANT OF CONFIDENCE VOTE. (Pen Press Association.) Wellington, last night. At tho Trades and Labor Council s communication was received from the Labor Department, requesting the Council recommend the name of some person for appointment to the newly created Implement Inquiry Board, to represent the workers. It was resolved to reoom, mend tbe President, Mr A. H. Cooper. It is understood that all Trades Councils in the colony are being requested to recommend representatives, and that Government will make an appointment from the list submitted. At the next meeting the Council will consider the following motion; “ That the Oounoil has no confidence in the Arbitration Court as at present constituted, and as a matter of urgency reoommends the annual conference to consider the position.’’
